Hi folks,

Just found your site and decided to join. I live in Canada all my life. Decided to get back into my old hobby of fish keeping back in December. Got a pair of gold fish for my daughters (always starts with gold fish) in a 10 gallon tank. I decided to get some Juvenal oscars in January. We got a used 40 gallon tank and stocked it with 2 oscars, jack Dempsey and a comon pleco. Well after 2 months one of the oscars beat up and killed the jack dempsey (oscars fins where chewed to hell!). A month later the heater failed in the tank and one of the oscars got sick and died.

3 months later my gold fish grew to half the size of the 10G tank and were not doing so good. Managed to find a 110 US gallon tank and stand for cheap (its a old tank that has half inch plate glass). Moved the oscar an pleco into the new tank and decided to get a albino oscar. We moved the gold fish to the 40 gallon.

Fast forward to today and the goldfish are about 7" in the 40 gallon and the Oscars are both 7" and my pleco is 8" n the 110 gallon.
