Hi guys, my name is Darren, Ruste is my nickname as is Dowg so they kind of got used together at sometime and it stuck, i'm an independent reproduction artist and live in the uk.
Years ago one of my first jobs was working in an aquatic centre in sunbury middlesex, i went onto manage the place for a while before moving out of the area.
I used to keep oscars as a kid and loved them, best pets ever!
Recently picked up a decent sized tank from my dad who got bored with his tank of neons that soon became a tank of plants and nothing else!
Set the tank up over a week ago now and should be picking out a new oscar at the weekend if the water levels are ok, done a few home tests today and all is on the line so i put a few plants in today that i will enjoy until the oscar decides to destroy them!
So all in all i came here to check out a few peoples tanks and re-educate myself about my favourite south american cichlid, great site and great forum, thanks for having me
