Hey, just wanted to say what a great site you have here. It's helped me out a lot so far.

I just recently purchased my first of Oscars, 2 Red Tigers. There juveniles and are less than 2 inches. I always thought fish were just fish until I got these guys. It's really is something to be greeted by them when I walk into the room, and to have them eat out of my hand. I've grown very attached to them even after just a few days!
Right now there in a 25 gallon tank alone, when they start to grow I will be purchasing a 55 gallon for them and my leopard pleco.

Keep up the good work!

WELCOME!

One suggestion for you though. A 55 is rather too small for two Oscars plus a Pleco. In fact a 55 is too small for just the two Oscars alone. I would start thinking in terms of a 125-150 minimum.

Need to give away one healthy 1 year old Oscar if you know of anyone interested. See the adoption thread for photos. Thanks!
