Hey all.
Abviously new to this site, though I wouldn't consider me a novice nor an expert for that matter. I have owned my Red O for about 5-6 months in a 75G tank with a JD and 2 SD's.
I have a 125G that has now completed it's cycle, fishless w/help from transplanting other media from current tank, and have clown loaches keeping it that way. I am using 1 Fluval 405 and a Whisper 60 in the 125 and when I get my stand this weekend I will be retiring my 75 and adding the other Fluval 405 to the 125G.
I am a BIG beliver in over filtration.
I also have (2) 40G community tanks with various other species (which I got my 2 clowns from, and will be returning before adding my O and JD).
I have a 45G quarantine/med tank.
I keep my O tank between 78-80 deg. and do 20-30% w/c in the middle of the week and a 50% during the weekend.
The question many may ask ... Why retire the 75G? Well in short ... SPACE!!! My wife is ready to leave me as is with all this water.
Will be looking to sell it soon.
I'm looking forwared to asking and answering some questions, well more answering because if I have to ask ... means trouble.
Thanks for looking.
