hi folks, only just found this site, read some of the articles on here, GREAT STUFFB)

I have two oscars in a 150us gallon tank,including 3 tinfoil barbs,2 silver sharks,1 senegal birchir,1 gibbicep,1 common plec,1 hoplocatfish had them now about 2.5years.....
Will post some photo's soon,, I love oscars there great fish almost dog like:lol:

I also have a manganuese cichlid which i used to keep in the 150us until one day he went crazy, now hes all alone in his tank, even attacks me and the syphon when i waterchange his tank:blink:

I love south/central american<new world cihlids, but do not have enough spae to own them all:(

I also have a breeding tank with a pair of bristlenose plecs, with at this present time around 80+ fry, from three generations, been giving them away and they keep multiplying:S

welcome to the site, you certainly have an impressive stock of fish.

One of my local fish shops is also got a manganese Cichlid that is around 15 inches. He/she is an absolute beauty, been in there for ages, obviously nobody has got the tank for him. I would love him for my 125 gallon tank. However, I couldn't bear to part with my four clown Loach and two breeding red Oscars.

thanksfor the warm welcome guys, i know my tank sounds a little stocked which it is, but it gets a LOT of maintainence,,its 5ft/2ft/2ft

waterchanges consist now of 300litres on a sunday and again 300litres around wednesday:huh:

filteration consists of a fluval fx5<my best filter to date>, tetratec internal 1000, fluval external 403......

i have been waiting to sell my flat toupgrade but the way the current market is we cannot shift the property, nearly did then it all fell through:(

yes my friend you see three tinfoil barbs, there bloomin huge, there bigger than my oscars, id guest-imate that there around 13-14inches
