Good Day

My name is Kobus and have 4 Oscars and 2 Plecostomus’s.
The Oscar’s are about 9 inches each and the Plecotomus’s are about 7 inches long.

I’m quite new to everything.

I got the 4 Oscars in December 2007 from a friend of mine, that no longer wanted them. I had to go buy a tank and everything to accommodate them. My tank is 5 foot long and holds +- 500ltrs. I also have a external canister filter. I struggled through everything as I was completely new at that stage; luckily my local pet shop was very patient with me as I asked a lot of questions.

I have had a couple of hiccups on the tank already but lately everything has been running smoothly. I found out the hard way not to wash the internal workings of the filter with tap water.

I will definitely be logging on more to this site as it is great.
In each of us are places where we have never gone. Only by pressing the limits do you ever find them

4 - Oscars, 3 Tigers and 1 Albino.
2 - Plecostomus
5 Foot Tank +- 500 Ltr
