New to the site and excited to talk with others who like the Oscar as I do. When I was 16 I got a 30 gallon tank from a friend and put two Oscars in it. They had such cool personality I was hooked right them. Over time I have had tanks on and off. Mostly off for the last 15 years. For whatever reason I decided early this year to set up a tank. Made the stand myself and bought a starter kit at the petsmart with 55gal tank and hood with light. Been up and running now for about 4 months. I will find the appropriate thread to post some of my questions. After 15 years I am out of touch with some of the new tricks of the trade.
