Hi there, my name is Ben, and i've worked at an aqaurium for about 3 months now, anyway, we've had two pairs of oscars there, since I don't even know when, but I've been watching them, feeding, tank cleaning, and etc, well i've finaly decided I'de like some oscars myself! Problem is my huge tank is currently occupied by catfish and gourami, so putting some money away to get a tank, hopefully by this time next year, all though I doubt the oscars I currently work with will still be there by that time, but ah well! But the reason I am here is to learn some more about Oscars, so my oscars will have the best life in there tank that they can possoibly have!

Also, I live in Australia, New South Wales, i've contacted a breeder in Queensland, fair way to go, so hopefully when the time comes, his fish will be healthy, and not half dead.

Also, I keep many, many, many. . . many. . . many, parrots!

Hope to get to know some of you better over the coming months, also just some f.y.i, im 15.

welcome to the site Ben. For starter, there was
one topic posted 8 months ago in the "the oscar fish-
how many oscar should i keep". the discussion and exchange
of ideas will help you decide on what to do. very informative.

Thank you for the welcomes!

Been looking at some of the topics (mainly tank related) I've been looking at the aqua nova R-Series for a potential tank, and thinking i'll go with 4 oscars, but i'll be sure to check that thread out all the same, thanks for the tip
