I am introducing myself as an aquarium enthusiast who has just recently set up a 55 gallon. I have some experience with aquariums but mostly by trial and error so I am learning every day. I've got two juvenile Oscars a Pacu and a Pleco. None of them are over 3 inches so I have a while to get them in bigger or other tanks... They grow exponentially but I’ll take care of it!

Welcome to our community

Bear in mind that Pacu in the wild reach in excess of 3 feet. They could potentially get this big in captivity if you housed them in a huge aquarium. However even in a small aquarium they will get very big so you have to take this into account when keeping these type of fish.
