Been visiting the site for a while (very good by the way!!) ive been wanting an Oscar for at least a year or so but having a tank of Malawis i thought this was not a good idea!!
Anyway most of my Malawis have gone (died natulary) so i decided to bite the bullet an purchase an oscar - and came away with two!! couldn't choose between a red tiger or a red one? (reddish/pink body with black fins)
Been two weeks now and they seem to have settled in very nicely - although i appreciate that may change the larger they get!

no i dont think the deaths were through disease - i'd had them a while and i was running the tank down deliberatly (not re-stocking)

welcome to OFL, imagine ull get addicted to oscars as much as the rest of us, if your anythign like me u'll start feeling guilty soon when you realise your other tropical fish just are'nt as interesting as your oscar!!!
