i have a pair of tiger oscars female 12" male 11"
only had them a couple of days and am now looking out for a good size tank,at the moment they are in a 4` x 2` x 1 1/2`
since i got the pair home they have been showing signs of breeding so may end up with a few more

thanks,ive just ordered a new tank 5` x 2` x 2.5` ithink thats around 150 gallons?would you say thats a good size for a pair to breed in?also i have place a large peice of flat slat(size of a roof tile)is this all so large another or should i place a 2nd bit of slat in the tank

The dimensions you listed are around 155 gallons.

However, if the tank is 24 inches high, the water rarely comes up that high. A very good example would be my tank. The actual tank dimensions are 6' x 2' x 2' which is around 150 gallons, however, the water probably comes up around 21 inches, maybe a little bit more. That means the actual tank holds around 125 gallons of water. You have to take this into account, especially when you add medication and fish.
