hello glad to find a great website about the one fish i love anyway I have two oscars in a 55g tank wit a penguin bio wheel 350. there about 2 1/2 to 3ins long a black one with strips ( sorry i really dont know the name of the types) and a whitish orange one as well. here some pics. am kind of new wit all the fancy stuff like filters and such. only can get whats on base

if u have any tips or any helpfull tidbits plz throw them my way

Welcome to OFL. You have a Tiger Oscar and what looks like and an albino. If there is some orange on it, it's actually a lutino.

I must say that 55 gallons is not really big enough for two Oscars. You should consider upgrading before they get too big for your tank and you start running into water quality problems which you no doubt will.

But all in all, you have some very nice fish

i second what ofl has stated about the tank size and type of oscar you have.
another thing to purchase will be a water testing kit.
