I have had aggressive cichlids for over 20 yrs on and off, I had a 55 gal tank set of for 17 yrs that I just recently upgraded to a 125 gal tank. Right now I have a baby oscar named oscar(I know original), in the month that I've had him he has at least doubled in size if not more, right now I would say he is about 3 1/2 inches, he has a great appetite. and I have a pleco that is about 7 inches.

Hi there and welcome to our little community. Oscars grow very quickly so expect your fish to be approaching 10 inches may be more within the year.

Why not post some photos, we would like to see your tank and fish.

I may not always be right, but I am always the BOSS :-)

Hello and welcome to OFL. What kind of pleco you have? I ask because of water quality issues with the big ones. I also have large Oscar and pleco in a 125 and bioload is EXTREME with those two. I concur with the Boss, lets have a look at your fish!

I may not be the Boss, but I'm ALWAYS right!
