I have a Oscar in a 75 gallon he is only about 3 inches so I think now would be a good time to add tank mates and I'm looking for a bottom dweller and I love the look of the catfish so I was trying to determine which would be better to add to the tank my setup would be just fine for either fish. thanks for any advice

I'm afraid you don't have any room for other fish. I know that you will probably say that 55 gallons is the minimum size, and many people will agree. However, a lot of people are now agreeing that 75 gallons is a good size for an adult Oscar on its own. You certainly haven't got any room for a plec or a catfish.

I may not always be right, but I am always the BOSS :-)
