Thats why we are all here... to help in any way we can. But to start, eventually you will need a larger tank to keep two oscars.

Welcome to OFL mate, you'll get all the help you'll need here.
just ask if you have a question, one of us guys will answer your questions.
1 thing though, you said a little better established, what you mean is FULLY cycled. dont put any oscars into a tank unless its totally cycled mate, its problems waiting to happen.
2 Tiger Oscars, 1 Lutino Oscar, 1 Jack Dempsey, 3 Clown Loaches, 1 Blue Phantom Pleco.

Alright. I have NEVER had this great of a response to a introduction forum. Im very excited about becoming more active in this forum! Especially since you guys are this active!

Here is a little more in depth look at my situation.

I had a 30 gallon tank for a month and a half before I got this one. I have 2 tinfoils, 2 gouramis, a red tail shark, and a pleco. They were all in the smaller tank. I saw this 75 gallon for sale at a good price so I had to jump on it. I have always loved oscars but did not want to restrict them in a 30 gallon.

So I got this tank, moved all of the fish over etc. I have two hang on back filters moving close to 650 gph. I took the biowheel out of my old more cycled tank and moved it to this one hoping that it will speed up the process. I think and hope that I have sufficient filtration for this tank. I have a 350 watt heater with a constant tank temp just below 80 degrees F. I will be doin about a 10% water change weekly for 4 weeks. This should be plenty of time for the tank to cycle. Then I will be purchasing 2 oscars. Not sure which type yet. Definitly a tiger oscar though. Not sure if I will get an albino or not.

40 days? I can handle that. Thanks. I have read all about the cycle. Most of the information I have found is without fish. Since I have fish I cannot just dump pure ammonia in the tank. I will just have to wait it out. I am soo excited about my oscars though. I cannot wait. Do any of you feed live fish?? Should I or should I not do this? If you do, do you have a seperate, say 10 gallon tank for these fish and keep them for a while making sure that they are not diseased?

You should not feed your oscar feeder fish. They are fairly low in nutrients and alot of feeder fish live hard lives which can lead to disease that they can pass on to your oscar.
