A fine looking catfish I must say. I love long whiskers on them. I once had a Claris catfish, also known as a walking catfish. Unfortunately mine died. These fish can get to grow to over 2 foot long and have been known to eat everything in a pond and then crawl out of the pond and walk across land to another water, hence the name walking catfish

The problem is, a lot of shops sell the sort of catfish that can grow to three or 4 foot long and then people buy them not knowing this. Personally, I think a lot of shops should be a little bit more responsible and not sell fish that grow huge, like pacu. There are very few people who have got a tank big enough to house these fish.

Does that Oscar always lay in that position, or did you just take the picture at the time when it was on that side? Sometimes you find fish that are deformed. Just keep an eye on it, make sure it doesn't change or get worse
