Hi everyone, I have been thinking for a while about keeping Oscars, but just had not quite made the leap yet until that is I went to a friends house and they were going to throw theirs in the lake and get rid of the equipment so needless to say I am now raising an Oscar:cheer: . He is the coolest fish I have ever owned and this website has really been helpful. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello.

Thats not good. You saved the enviroment and those fish.If you live near a northern lake they would not survive. Welcome to the site, and thanks for taking those fish.

Thank you, I have been keeping fish for a long time, I wish I would have known how much fun I would have had with an Oscar, I would have gotten one a long time ago. He has more personality than any fish that I have ever seen.
