Hi to all Oscar Fish Lover Members

I have recently finished my Oscar tank set up and just thought i'd introduce it to you all.

I have a 65g tank with 2 Oscars and a Golden Nugget Plec. Oscar number 1 is called Bowser and is a red breed and about 3" in size. I have had him for a few months now and has settled in nicely. Oscar number 2 on the other hand is a tiger Oscar and is about 7" and is called Beast. Beast is a rescue fish that i got off a very poor maintained petshop. They kept him in a small tank with a huge red Oscar that kept bullying him. So i decided to take him home despite him having hole in the head disease. It has been about three days since Beast has been in my tank and he has improved alot. I've started to treat the tank with Octozin to kill any parasites that are about and feeding them vitamin soaked pellets. Already Beast has settled in and has had his colours regenerated and is now showing some character. Hopefuly his holes start to heal. The two of them are getting on ok and no big squables so far (fingers crossed). As Bowser is still young he has a lot of energy and this seems to bother Beast the most. Once he gets too excited and close to beast he gets a lil chase. Im hoping when it all calms down they become good friends.
Over the last few days it truely is amazing how 2 oscars are better than 1. In my old setup i had danios and there is a little shoal left in the tank. I thought as soon as Bowser enters the scene they would be a nice meal for him, but i was wrong. Bowser had no interest in them and if anything he thought they was his friends. Now that the more experienced beast has entered the scene things have now changed. Bowser has began to copy Beast and chase danios as an afternoon snack. His first catch he didnt even know what to do with it so beast took it off him as a quick meal lol. Bowser is keen to learn and it shows how much character Oscar fish really have. Hopefully they have a long and healthy life with me.
I'm new to the Oscar scene but have done tonnes of research before setting up. Any advice is more than welcome and i hope you lot have a few stories to tell me.
