I spent some hours reading here yesterday and pretty much liked it, so I thought joining might keep me from talking to myself about fish all the time.

I've been keeping my Oscar since 4 years now from baby stage, and he's my favourite pet. He's in a 300 ltr (think about 65 UK gal?) tank which had been meant for just him and a catfish originally, but at the moment it's way overstocked due to some unfortunate circumstances (taking over fish from others, other tank given up, visiting a pet shop ...). Therefore I'm looking forward to the used ~100 gal corner tank I hope to be getting within the next weeks Else we're raising some shell dwellers in a 2' tank currently, and that's all when it comes to fish here. Can't have enough tanks, I sure envy some of you guys!

No real problems here at the moment but anyway looking forward to talking with some fellow Oscar lovers

Wow, quick! Thank you very much And I keep practicing. We do learn English at school in Germany but it's been a long time, and the web is a way better way to learn.
