Hello all fellow oscar lover members,

My name is Tim, but you can call me Timmo.
I have 4 baby oscars, 2 Red Tigers, 1 Red, 1 Albino Tiger.

and a small pleco for the janitor.

My tank is a 40gallon for now. but when my Oscar babys grow a little i have a 180gallon in mind.

lots of helpful tips here. like to help others also.

welcome timmo hope you enjoy the site lots of usefull stuff and good people on this site.

Those liitle oscar wont be so little in a few months i suggest you start planning for the 180g tank now.

getting a bigger tank for my little monsters in about 2-3 months. should that be okay? they will be bigger by then and not too huge I guess.

basically is 2-3 months too late for the bigger tank?

these little guys will grow approx 1inch a month if fed well and regular water changes are done,keep in mind that you wanna cycle yr tank for a few weeks at least before moving them over.

They should be ok for 2 or 3 months, but test for nitrates reguarly, ideally keep below 20, but up to 40 is ok. It the nitrates get too high do bigger and more often water changes
