I'm a member of Oscarfish.com as well, but thought I'd join here because this board seems a bit more livelier.

I've had fish since I was a kid. Got out of the hobby for a few years, then started up again about 6 months ago after someone gave me a 10gl, and then a 55gl. Now I've got 3 tanks running (10gl, 20gl hospital, and 55gl), and in the process of setting up a 135gl. I've got a Lemon Oscar, an Electric Blue Jack Dempsey, a Blue 3-Spot Gourami, two random tetras (I have no idea what breed they are) and one Rummynose Tetra.

I've also got 3 two-legged kids, and 2 four-legged kids. And a husband who counts as 2 more kids. LOL I live in the NW corner of Oregon in the US in a little town called Astoria. If you've ever seen the Goonies - you've seen my hometown.

I also used to be a member of Ofish a few years again, I think I joined in 2004. I noticed that the board has become very very quiet in recent months as I do often have a look at what's going on. Anyway, glad you have decided to join us, and look forward to your input on the forums

Thanks all! I've been a member of Ofish since 2001 when I got my first Oscar from Walmart and put him in a 5 gallon tank. LOL I've come quite a long way since then. Had only kept small community fish before, and thought the pretty little Tiger Oscar was just fantastic! And he was until he launched himself out of the tank one night.

I'm new too - and live in a residential area outside Seattle. We go through Astoria often on our way to Cannon Beach:) great to see a friend from the northwest!
