Hi All. Just posting to introduce myself. I was on Monster Fish Keepers and posted twice for Oscar help/advise. Never got a reply from the thousands of people there. Go figure. Simple questions that would require a minute to answer was too much I guess. Any way, I have been keeping fish for 30 yrs although not as diligently as I should. I have done salt, brackish, and fresh. All in relatively small tanks (30 gals). My last Oscar experience was about 15 yrs ago with two reds in a 30! They did very well for 5 yrs till one went airborn at night and the other broke the heater and fried jtself. Now days I have a new Tiger named Joe Biden. I lost a new one (Obama) waiting for advise on MFK. There is alot of new tech and theories out there and I am hoping to keep up to date with help from OFL. Thanks for reading my rant.-C.

MFK is a very large and impressive website. However, I find it just too vast. I feel like I am lost in a huge crowd of people whereas I really want to be mixing with just a few people who I can get to know and interact with, I hope that makes sense.

i too am a member of mfk but i generally only use it for info on different things not for my oscars. imho most tend to dislike oscars there for some strange reason.(maybe theyre not exotic enough)
