Hi. I am a new Oscar owner. I got them 3 weeks ago and they have more than doubled in size! I really like watching them eat and beg for food anytime I get near the tank. I am soooo glad I got a python cleaner before I set this tank up- it makes all the cleaning so much easier. I just wanted to say hi and check in. My friends are getting really tired of listening to me go on and on about my fish!

Hello New Owner

I've had 2 oscars for 2 days (beautiful ones) and one night the tank cracked - when I got home it was too late - a very teary week later, my friend got me 2 nice big ones again (about 11") and I treat them as part of the family - I just adore them. They are my favourites - but my 9 other tanks running (with other tropical fish and including a Malawi tenk) also give me immense pleasure. I understand that friends are getting sick of "fish talk" - I'm experiencing it every day

Yeah, I know what you mean about others getting sick of "the fish tanks". I have three at the moment, more if I could. But my family is very sick and tired of my new stories EVERY day! But I can help it, my fish are just so cute. Since I have had my Oscar, (about three and a half months ago) I have had non stop chat about him. I love him to bits!
