Hey folks, I was recently given a little 2 inch Oscar as a gift, by someone who didn't know any better. I basically came home to a cold and hungry Oscar in a jar and had to immediately play savior to the little guy.

When it comes to fish, I don't have shit for experience, but since this grumpy little murderers 20+ year lifespan has been placed in my hands, I'd like to do a good job of caring for him(or her).

I say murderer because he spent about a week in a 3 gallon tank with some rosies and whiteclouds, and killed EVERYHTHING whether he ate it or not...which was awesome. Don't worry, he's not in a 3 gallon tank anymore...

So now I'm just playing catchup. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about how to provide a healthy environment for my Oscar, and how to keep him happy.
