I was looking for information for Oscar fish on Google and found this here
never knew there is such good Forum, I have learned a lots from here about my very first 2 Oscar death, from here it was 8 years ago, back then my Oscar is not aggressive but quite a bully, does not eat his tankmate but tent to chase them around a little bit, but the two of them start fight since all the tankmate were removed, one die because of that, the last was ill having sticky stuff on the body and eyes become blur and went blind slowly lose it's appetite only grew up to 6 inches long

now I have got back my old aquarium 4 feet long 18inches wide about 20 inches height what's the maximum Oscar I can have ? to keep? healthy and possible keep very long till they breed,??

Welcome to OFL.
You're tank is 75Gl and will be enough for one O and some small tankmates.
That is if you have enough filtration.
What kind of filter do you have and what's it's capacity?
If you say that you want 'Them" to breed your original plan must have been more than one O but you're gonna need a 100+Gl tank for a couple.
One single o could be very happy for his whole lifespan.

X2 on you'll love it here! i'm pretty new and i sure love it! The peeps here are great, just ask them and they will give you great advice. I know it hurts to know the truth; that we been fishkeeping wrong, but ones we admit and make up for our mistakes, its so rewarding. i've cleaned up my act and feel so much better ^_^ and i know my fish do too!

I'm looking forward to have small Oscar very young one, so I can them pair up when I have many looking forward to have like 8-12 Oscar for the moment also looking forward to have another tank, planning it. so the breeding of Oscar is more like plan further ahead which I can plan for it later
