Hello, while I am a newb on the board, i'm not exactly a new to the oscar world; I had a Tiger Oscar for about five years, and about a month ago, it jumped out of the tank while I was away at work and died on the floor
I now have an Albino Tiger Oscar which I bought the day after the Tiger "transitioned", and am planning on always keeping an oscar because I love their personality (The nickname "River Dog" is very apropos for these creatures!). I never thought I would get so attached to a fish!
I've been lurking here for awhile and am finding that it is a great resource for oscar care (heck, even general aquarium tips) and am glad to have found you all!
