Im glad to be apart of the community of the helpful site. I'm new to the Oscar, though i had many smaller tropical fish in the past. Any common mistakes when owning a Oscar and a Jack Dempsey?

Common mistakes?
Too small tank, bad waterquality, insufficient filtration, poor diet and most of all listening to the bad advice given by your LFS! :angry:
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!
