I've been a member for a few days and thought I'd get around with introducing myself. I'm 19 years old and I live in Florida. I've always had something to do with fish whether it was fishing or just seeing what I could catch with a dip net in the ditch down the street but I didn't have much to do with oscars until my brother convinced me to use them in my seventh grade science project on the growth rate of fish. Since oscars grow fast they were a good candidate. After the project I got to keep the two oscars and that's where it all started. I sadly lost one of my O's but I learned lesson after lesson with my one remaining oscar, who is now a healthy six year old fish, and now he and I are still learning on this site
