hi there benno
firstly welcome to the site
how long have you had the Oscars ? are they babies? where are you keeping them while your 4ft is cycling?. Im asking because a 190L tank is not large enough for two Oscars. I would consider replacing the tank in the near future for something in the region of 120 gallons for the two Oscars.....what's a black widow? hope its not a spider

OK well id consider re homing the black widow mate as your going to be pushed for room as it is..or keep him in the 2ft when you transfer your Oscars to your 4ft....like I said before tho a good rule to go by is keep at least 250 litres / 55 gallons of water PER Oscar. your little 4ft will be OK for a few months with your Oscars but believe me if you feed them twice to three times a day they grow 1 inch per month!! and the workload of cleaning your tank will become tiresome ...this is what i have learned from the guys on this site any ways

Gday benno, welcome,,I have to agree with what staffie is saying, To the "black widow" obviously i was imaging the little spider, but then i was thinking oh he means convict, but silver dollar with the black stripe never crossed my mind, the Myleus schomburgkii get to around 40cm fully grown and are best kept in groups,.,yes you will see i have 1 Metynnis lippincottianus, he was a rescue that someone needed gone there and than otherwise he was concidering throwing away... But one thing people say there best kept in groups, otherwise they can get aggressive, that i beleive to be true,he can be a little sod

Hallo and welcome to the site!
if we're playing guess the fish, i guess it's a black widow tetra, and it will be eaten in a few months.

You got the spotted...very nice!
those are very hard to find over here.
I got the regular sd's
Not much chance of fitting in an oscars mouth anymore, though!
Benno, we need pics!
