Hey guys, just a bit of a question, my mum picked some earth worms out of the garden for the oscar today when i was around visiting (being a good son...) and i thought sweet, put em in a bit of water to clean them off, and chuck em in, is that OK? is there anything else i need to do?

and also, hes done this twice from my memory, he is eating the plecs algie disc things.... as they drop in, he smashes it, his mouth is barely big enough for it, but he gets it in. ive been trying to get him full before i put a disc in, but he still goes for it generally. any ideas?

how big is your o? juvenile o normally eats everything as if there is
no tomorrow.... that is why we normally just allow them to eat what could be taken
in 3 minutes.... that is he had enough but not over feed....

I fed my Oscars 3 earth worms today. . they loved them! I washed them off really well before hand. I cut them up into small bits also, since my Oscars are 3" to 6".
