I found some white markings on my oscar after his Ich treatment and wanted to see fi it was a side affect or something else I'll have to treat. (His fin got eaten by a Gourami I had in the tank, which I already addressed)
So.......
I rescued Jack from petsmart on the first of this month, brought him home and he had an ich outbreak. Treated him with turning the heat up and the dots have been gone for a week now.
I noticed on one side it looks like a layer of glue dried on the side of him. Here's a video, he's too quick to get a picture of (

) He's probably been like that for at least a week.
The thing that throws me off is he has a healthy appetite, has a varied diet (vitamin flakes, blood worms, veggies, sometimes peas), swims around, plays with me, no clamped fins or rubbing himself on anything. In a 65 gallon tank by himself, tank cycled for a month prior to me adding him with media from my other tanks and fish food. I change 10% of the water once a week, I check the levels every other day. PH is 7.6; NO2 is 0ppm; NO3 is 5ppm; NH3 is 0ppm. I've been monitoring him every day and no negative things have happened. I was hoping it was just a side affect to recovering from the ich outbreak because he didn't develop this till after I treated him for ich.
