hello again!

my oscar fish knows when i feed him, i feed him in the morning, at lunch and at diner,
but in between, i sneek up on him n i see that he is waiting where i usually feed him,
is he doing this to make me know that im the feeder n he is hungry?
each time he does that im like "oh hes so cute! then i give him a snack but is that alright? should i feed him more? i dont wanna hurt him i love my tigerfish ( by the way his name is Tiga, i dont got a good name for him ) for last, are the tigerfish oscar more agressif? thank you and please be as clear as possible ok?

i dont think your hurting him i love my oscar to i feed him usialy at least four times a day if he dosent wana eat or is full he stops the only food that can hurt him is feeder fish due to HITH and i dont really do "snacks" i just mixed five foods togother so wat ever they like they eat :)i also hand feed my oscar cichild sticks he eats those like there running out of style

Oscars should only be given what they can eat in 2 minutes...

That being said, if your Oscar is a baby, then feed him about twice a day.

If he is over 6 inches long then once a day is more than enough.

Oscars will eat until they are sick, they are never full.... So only feed what they will eat in 2 minutes and then remove ant uneaten food.

I would assume coloration really has no bearing on behavior.

Do as nicki-sue says. If you feed your oscar when he is hungry you will be feeding him all day long.

Feeding an oscar when he is hungry will not cause him any physical probems BUT if you overfeed him you will find your water quality will deteriorate and go bad. This will cause your oscar health problems. This is why it is important to stick to the amount recommended by Nicki-sue

my four oscars fight for my attention, it's hilarious! I feed them regularly and even if i've just fed them they follow me across the room and almost race each other to get to me first! the things they'll do for food... x
