TOPIC: narowing down foods

narowing down foods 1 year, 10 months ago #104865

okay so now im deciding to feed feeders only on very rare ocasion now im wondering what these super worms are and other live lil criters they offer as live food at my LFS for my oscar and maybe his buddies

Super worms are large natural mealworms and are excellent food for Oscars, a much much better alternative than feeders.

my oscar loves mealworms but eventually refused the morios due to their hard skin.
He preferred one size smaller mealworms.
The beetles are bigger with the morio's too, and he sure loved those very much.
If you feed some white bread or crushed pellets or flakefood to the worms and stall them in a warm place, they'll turn into black beetles within some weeks.
Excellent treat and my o goes crazy for those.
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!
