The difference between meal- or superworms is their size.
Nutritional values are allmost the same.
One definate difference is their skin.
The super- or morio-worms have a harder skin, and my oscar didn't like that and eventually refused the superworms.

I strongly advice mixing the worms with some pellets and then feeding them to your o's.
Mealworms only can get an oscar very spoiled easily and mine refused any other food for over year.
I used to feed crushed Hikari pellets and flake food to the mealworms, prior to feeding them to my oscar.
Just to add some extra vitamins to my o's diet but that was because he ONLY ate mealworms.
Killing the mealworms, prior to feeding is not necsesary, for any worms that are not crushed by your oscars teeth will drown very quickly after being swallowed.

btw Matt, could you try to use some marks, kommas and paragraphs in your writing.
This will make your posts easier to read.
This way your point will be clearer and the responses better.

If you write all the information in a single sentence, we get confused!

Thanx in advance!
