blood worm is a treat remember not a staple.

Frozen bloodworms will soon be squishy inside any fish, not to mention after being processed by the chompers of an oscar. He'll be fine.

Your Oscar will be fine feeding on frozen bloodworm but by the nature of the way the food is frozen you will end up with some of the bloodworm disintegrating and inevitably falling to the bottom uneaten. There are lots of foods you can feed your oscar live and frozen so remember to feed a balanced varied diet

The frozen bit of bloodworm will not cause your oscar any problems. Frozen bloodworm is fine as a food however it gets expensive to feed to a large oscar. Check out some other threads on what can be fed to oscars

your oscar doesn't eat pellets because it is spoiled!!!

You would have to train it to eat pellets, which takes sometimes two weeks of putting them in there and taking them out if uneaten.

It is better for the O in the long run since Os are not strict carnivores in the wild, they get fiber as well.

You can even feed Os veggies and fruits if you train them young enough.

Pellets are a good staple because the get a excellent balance of nutrients and vitamins. You don't have to worry about too much protein or fat and the health/organ problems that come with diets that are too high in those things.
