This is the only website I trust on the web so I am throwing my concern out. I did my weekly water change added the proper ph for Oscar. I went on vacation for 4 days. I came home to find Oscar's eyes cloudy. I checked the ph, and it was below the ph; not even on the chart. I added more ph. His light was off for the 4 days. Does the light activate the ph balance? I don't know how to treat his cloudy eyes. Is this from stress/change? Help. Thank you.

If both of the eyes are cloudy then this normally points to either bad nutrition, or poor water conditions. Obviously, if the pH is completely wrong then this is going to be very bad for your fish. Please check the pH again and try and give us an indication of what it is. Also check the pH of the tap water. The next thing you need to do is test for ammonia, nitrite and nitrates.

What is the temperature of water? What have you been feeding your fish? I suspect this is probably down to water quality rather than a nutritional problem.

I aggree with OFL on this, we need those test results

In the meantime i would increase your water changes to every 2 or 3 day just to make sure the water quality is as good as it can be
I can't get no sleep

blurry eyes sometimes is caused by injury when fish darted and
hitting hard the glass wall... and fish will do that when trying
to scape bad water condition..... or someone poking it.....
