TOPIC: Pieces of Brim?

Pieces of Brim? 1 year, 9 months ago #106969

Can I feed my oscar pieces of fresh brim? I definately would freeze them first just to be sure to kill any parasites or anything.
Current Tank Setup:
30 Gallon (will be upgrading very soon!):
-One Oscar (Watchmacallit) 7-8inches

Brim is a type of fish. heres a link to the picture.

on another forum which i hold high they said it was ok so i went ahead and gave him a piece and he loved it!

i catch them locally in the pond out back my house. since i eat them i wasnt to nervous about feeding them to him but i wanted to check. of course, i dont cook his.

Where are you located. Are you talking about bream. It would be ok as long as it isnt diseased. Feed as a treat however cichlid pellets should be a large part of your oscar diet!!!
