OK, so they are 3 weeks old now, still have not lost any more, still have somewhere around 200. Four times a day they get a soup of 4 cubes each of baby brine, brine shrimp and blood worms..that's 16 cubes each of baby brine shrimp, blood worms and brine shrimp (lucky I get them half price)...it's been increasing and changing in the size of food I put in, making sure the 3 minute rule is observed. Now that the big ones are on blood worms they are growing exponentially!!!! They play tug of war with them and suck them down like spaghetti. Latest pics...
Now.. if you ever doubted Prime's claims to remove ammonia and detox the nitrates/nitrites...then don't. As I was totally unprepared for such a breeding success the little tackers are yet to experience the benefits of a cycled tank, everything has been a little hastily done and I have kept them healthy with two 25% pwc per day using Prime. To an uncycled tank I have been adding huge amounts of microscopic food and having 200+ fish poo and wee. I have been watching their health but not testing their water so as not to have a heart attack..well yesterday I tested the water...ammonia ZERO nitrates 5ppm and nitrites at 5ppm...yet fish healthy so nothing toxic there. Thankyou Seachem.

I have not touched the main filter yet, but rinse the sponge filter in tank water about every third day.
Enjoy the pics....Shazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
