Has anyone tried Frozen Squid cubes with their oscar(s)?

I saw some Hikari Frozen Squid in the LFS today, and was tempted to switch out the brine shrimp for it.

It looks like the krill I feed them, so I know they would recognize it as food, I wonder if it would better than brine shrimp for them?

Brine shrimp is one of least nutritious... personally I would definitely be interested in giving squid a try if my store had it.

Absolutely!

The Brine Shrimp they get the least of. I focus on Krill and Blood Worms the most. Treats range from frozen fruits and veggies to hikari gold pellets.

Brine Shimp was once described to me as 'the baked potato' of the fish food world.

I dont see the problem of feeding frozen squid to oscars as long as its part of a varied diet
I can't get no sleep

Next Saturday when I go to my weekly food run I will skip the brine shrimp and go directly to Squid.
