TOPIC: Orinoco Oscars?

I was doing research on wild oscars today, and came across "orinoco" oscars. they are quite lovely, seems to be black and gray with only the dot at the beginning of the tali being orange.

Does anyone have any experience with these?

They look especially enchanting.

If someone has (had) any, where did you get them?

They are wild oscars

But a specific wild type from what I am reading. They come from a specific spot in South America from what I read.

orinoco river basin i believe they are the same species with the same requirements

I had a thread on this site about 7 months ago on a similar topic. I believe Penn came on and posted that he has info about these Oscars and different types of Oscars on the informative parts of the website.

Jeff Rapps sells them on his website. You can buy juvies or an adult pair. I have written him to ask if "pair" means "pair" or just means 2.
