I have 700 odd hungry mouths that don't go for the cichild flakes or baby cichlid pellets. I just end up vacuuming them off the bottom of the tank or rinsing them off the filter cover. I am however going through 2 trays of bloodworms and 1 tray of brine shrimp a day...this is expensive...If they were dogs I would mix dry food in with the wet food..but I can't see how I can do this with fish. Any advice??

Shazzzz

The purpose of life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave with a well-preserved body, but rather to Slide in Sideways, completely used up, yelling and screaming, what a ride!

Wow - I never knew Oscars would eat veggies - this is wonderful!! Putting anything in a blender would pretty well puree it. Won't that mess up the water... a lot?

Yes I'm very new to this forum and to Oscars.

Have you tried the tetra cichlid pellets. When i kept discus i used to feed the tetradiscus, but they do a cichlid one. They are very small red food, the size of grains of salt. The problem is they are not big enough to starve into eating pellets- that will come later i think
I can't get no sleep
