Driving or public transport? If you are driving how about a set up with an esky and two of those battery operated air pumps- one for aeration and one for a sponge filter. Esky should keep the temp pretty constant too. I was thinking about this for when I take my babies up to Brisbane in the car. LFS usually send them away with a dose of stress coat too, or you could buy some.

To be honest for that amount of time you will be fine without a pump...Iv had two in a bucket for 6 hours+ and they where fine.

Does this mean you bought that bigger tank then?

That's a nice looking O unusual pattern.

into a bigger tank then he is like a 3ft so 20 to 30 gal with 4 clowns and another O

maybe even 3 wc a week if water readings start playing up i dont mind doing wc's

I'm with you Benno, theoretically you can make it work if you are managing your water quality and if they get along OK. ATM my adult O's are in a 100 gallon tank...three of them. Now I do plan on upgrading soon...when I sell their babies...but for the time being they are very happy with their home as evidenced by their general health and behavior including fortnightly spawning. I have OCD when it comes to water quality and it sounds like you do too. Fingers crossed toki is not too much of a pampered prince to share his kingdom and that your new baby fits in OK...Shazzzzz

Congrats Hun!!! He is SO CUTE!!!!

Make sure you keep a VERY close eye on your water, and keep up with the water changes.

And yes the time out net works ... Sometimes.... LOL
