I don't know where he got , but i have my suspesion. They are eating right now a NLS and hikari bio gold plus. Im currently alternating them everyday. I been doing water changes everyday about 50%. They are current in 12g tank since my 75g doing a fishless cycling. What should I do. Im little worried. I also put salt in there to help..... How big is the Oscar? 12 gallons is a little on the small side;) what I suggest you do is carry out a water test a few hours after doing your water change. 12 hours later, do another water test and see what the parameters, if the nitrate isn't any higher than 20 ppm, don't do such a big water change, maybe only 10%. Could you provide some photographs for us please. Regarding cuts and scrapes, nine times out of 10, Oscar's heal up very quickly. This will only happen if the water quality is good. Please give us more information on the situation

For now i don'thave any camera since my girlfriend has it. I will get it and post it later. I been doing about 25-50 changes of water a day. I just cant wait to put them in my 75g tank. My itrite when I check is 0 and my ammonia is still 0. I think he or she scratch to the gravel when the got startled. He/she is not sulking, very active and eats alot, but I only feed them small smount twice aday.

feed yr o every third day once a day to try and keep the amonia levels down as the size of yr tank will turn into a amonia bath very quickly.

a bigger tank is needed very quickly

My opinion is that you are doing the right thing with a 50% water change every day. If you want to reduce it then test for nitrate daily. If its near 40 then do a water change, if its below 20 then dont. If nitrate are just above 20 then do a 25% water change

As said reduce feeding and only feed what they will eat in 2 or 3 mins. How big are your fish?
