I just have a question about my albino tiger oscar changing color lately. About a week ago the ends of all his fins started darkening up, now they are black and the part where the fin meets his body is like a crazy blue color, it's really pretty, but is this normal for a supposedly albino fish? (Also he still hasn't grown much, and his 'brother' is at least 4 times his size now.) :/

This is what he used to look like:

This is what he looks like now:

Him and his 'brother' (that were the same size when I bought them):

(my phone camera kinda sucks with details)

the darkening of the fins is normal in LUTINO OSCARS.
An albino should have no pigment at all and red eyes, so because your fish has a pattern, it's called a lutino.

so, Paul, yours is a red eyed Lutino it is, right?
She allready showed some darker pigmented edges on the fins as a baby.

Sure, but odd the red eye gene got passed on from the parents.
Do you remember the parents eye colours?
