i just got 180 gallon tank and two more oscars a tiger oscar and an albino tiger oscar and now i have around 6 fish tanks witch all but two have oscars in them they are a 55 gallon with one oscar a pleco. another 55 gallon with two oscars and a pleco.125 two oscars ,pleco, pacu. and now my new one has two oscars ,pleco,pacu,some afican chiclids and the other two are 10 gallons with feeder fish and the other has alot of diferrent livebearers. i love oscars if you cant tell

It is a addictive hobby. I would have more tanks if my girlfriend would let me. In an odd kind of way i am glad she puts her food down or i would have loads of tanks and would spend most of my time maintaining them

i really does take alot of money to maintain them but it is worth it

You should post some photos, I would love to see your setup. I want to try a saltwater tank - seems much more difficult then oscars though

It really shouldnt cost a lot of money to keep fish. I find the electric bill can get high and i pay a fixed amount for water no matter how much i use. Using concentrated dechlorinater (the stuff for ponds) is the cheapest way. Food is relatively cheap, i reckon is cost me less than £5 a week to feed all my fish (i have a 100g, 180g cichlid tanks and a 70g discus tank)
