alright. recently i bought 2 juvi oscars. one albino tiger "zeus" and one standard issue tiger "oddin." When i set up the tank i had a couple of places for them to get into but i really didn't think too much on it. I have lots of plants and some groovy decor that they seemed hang out around, but they were ALWAYS together. Then one day, I swear Oddin literaly doubled in size overnight, and Zues didnt'... Then Oddin developed a favorite game of chase Zues all over the tank, let him hide, find him, chase, repeat.
I didn't think it was that big of a deal and i thought that they were just playing around. Till i took a close look and noticed that poor Zues's little fins were getting mutalated and it seemed that Zues wasn't fighting back. Oddin is like twice his size now and Zues eats just as much as he does.
Well picked up some furnature that Zues could get into to get away from Oddin and that seemed to work okay. He has taken to a "holy" log that he can get into and has FINALLY started to stand up for himself while he is in the log.
Well i dosed the tank with some stress coat for his destroyed fins and they are almost compleatly healed... but i don't ever get to see my fish. When he does come out to eat Oddin doesn't chase him anymore, he just kinda swims around with him till he goes back to the log.
I was thinking that i should just separate them into different tanks or does anyone think that it is too soon to tell what will happen with my little fish.

Oscars can be rough with each other sometimes. However, I don't like to split fish up unless it is absolutely necessary. Even though fish may be receiving injuries, I like to leave it as long as possible before deciding whether to split up or not. In many cases, the fighting stops, or doesn't get any worse than the fish are okay. Fins are very very delicate so can obviously get damaged easily, Oscars often nudge each other in their side, this is how the Finns get damaged. If there is no damage being done to the bodies, I should leave it a bit longer and just monitor the situation. When Oscars fight, they often liplock, also described as jaw locking. The problem is, Oscars also performed this type of behaviour when they are going through their breeding ritual. It can be difficult to distinguish between aggression and non-aggression
I may not always be right, but I am always the boss

Yeah his fins were getting pretty bad. But the only fish with any real damage is the agressive one from when he tried to get into his sacred log. He lost scales and everything. I'm just worried that the fish is gonna live in his log and not be able to swim around with out being chased.

i agree with ofl separating your fish should be a final step.they could be trying to establish dominace. if your albino doesnt come out enough you could try to remove his hollow log and watch and see what develops. if that fails replace the log so he can hide until they sorted things out.
Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!

Your weaker fish has found a bit of the tank to call his own and is now defending it. This is good. Hopefully given time your 2 oscars will learn to live together in a pecking order

However if this doesnt happen you will have to ask yourself how miserable the weaker one is hiding all the time. If you think the weaker oscars life is really miserable i would think about rehoming
