I am also very sad to hear that. I came back to this site today to announce that my new oscar LIVED. A week after introducing her to our home, naming her (puppy, cause I can't have one) and loving her.
When she got sick and it was late Saturday we were devistated, and there was no fish shop to go to and ask. We got onto the internet and found this site.
She was probably in a little shock after a 50% water change, some new rocks etc in the tank and generally activity and a noisy day in a usually quiet house. Also I had repositioned the filter and probably lowered the oxygen in the tank.
On Sunday morning we brought some Geo and she is a new fish.
