hi
i purchased to oscars about 2 months ago 1 as grown quiet rapid but the other 1 doesnt seem to of grown at all when i bought them 1 of them had white spot i treated him for it and it cleared up after about 1 week im wondering if this white spot might have anything to do with it any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks:unsure:

could you give us some more information, how big are they now? How big is your tank? What have you been feeding?also, you need to test your water for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH. Obviously if the water is not in good condition, it can affect how a fish grows

hi
the tank is 252 litres the oscar is a bout 4 inches my other1 is about 7 inches but when i bought them they were both the same size i feed them on pellets prawn bloodworm

Sadly, your tank is not quite big enough for two Oscars. At the moment, you shouldn't have a water quality problem but if the Oscars get very big, you might struggle to keep the water in good condition. Oscars aren't uniform, they don't all grow at the same rate and to the same size. However, healthy Oscars should grow fairly quickly and reach at least 8 inches within the first year.

Just keep an eye on them,You may find that it will suddenly start growing and play catch up
