The Home of my Tiguer Oscars should be ready for fish in a few days (120UKgal). I have been keeping a 5" -now looks more like 6", young Tiguer Oscar in a small tank (29g bow); yesterday I had to bring (the LFS couldn't hold him/her longer) a 4" Tiguer Oscar.

After acclimation, I placed him/her in the 29USg bow tank. The 6" one (Moon) went after the newcomer and laid by his/her side, like being gentle, that went on for about five minutes. But afterwards, Moon started chasing and acting kind of aggressively towards the other(Luna). I sat by the tank, watching. The youngest one offered nothing but submissive behavior, at no moment got beaten up (no mouth locking, no skin torn appart), but after 30 minutes or so, things wouldn't ease out (chasing, dominating, displaying attempts to bite without causing any harm). So I decided I would take no risks -there's too little room in a tank that size (surface are is equivalent to a 20USg); so I placed Luna in the quarantine/hospital tank -5.5gal. Of course I also relocated HOBs to have above average filtration.

Should I worry once they both go into the 120UKgal? Hope you could share your experience with me, one more time.

I think the extra space will certainly help. I think you should put in some really nice hiding places as well. As for whether things will be any different between them once they get into the 125 gallon tank, this really is impossible for us to answer just at the moment. I think it will just be a case of trial and error and just see how they get on with the extra room

You could try a sheet of plastic glass between them so they can see each other but not hurt each other. But I think things will be better once they go into bigger tank, if you put them in together this will also help as no one would have setup home and they will explore together and not have an area to defend.

i would consider placing the submisive on in the new tank first then after about an hour put the aggressive one in.

also instead of plexiglass to seperate them i would try egg crate(for flourecent light fixture) instead. it allows for better water circulation and they can see it so they wont ram into it.
Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!

Thanks for the ideas.
Had a problem with the 145gal -the styrofoam underneath cracked last night, tank tilted a bit, replaced it with corksheet 1/2" thick. Had to drain all water though, stopped filters for around 3 hours, after refill, placed everything, level is great, run the filters, let the water settle, and Nitrites are down to 0.48ppm. Added Ammonia solution to 4ppm, so I might need more time for the fishless cycle.
I will probably divide the 29g bow to leave some room for the 4" Tiguer Oscar with egg crate -thanks again, OFL, marcus ,and necromancer.
