funnily enough, I've never named my fish, not like my dogs I have had over the years. I suppose it's because using an animal's name to call it. I did talk to my fish occasionally, but none of them have got names.

I do remember watching this western a few years ago and somebody asked this cowboy what horse was called, and he said "I never name anything that I might have to eat one"

my Oscars are getting huge, one of them would make a great meal:ohmy:

necromancer4 ( Moderator ) OFFLINE Moderator Parachromis...accept no substitute Posts: 6860	well right now i have my o's housed in a 190 imperial gallon tank with 4 aqua clear 110s and a 45 gallon wet dry sump system. i'm decorated sparcely with rocks,plants and driftwood on a natural sand substrate. soon however i'm going to finish my new tank which will be 250 imp gallons with a black sand substrate.(if i can find some that doesnt cost a fortune)
